After moving to Phoenix nearly nine years ago, my interest in boots steadily grew, especially with cowboy boots.

Eventually, it evolved to include dress boots, both through a natural progression and work needs.

This is my newest addition to my collection and I certainly like how they look on me.

And, they look great crushing things too.

When it comes to dress footwear, brand names are not super important to me - it's the design and feel that I care about.

I like boots and have plenty of them. So, naturally, I gravitate to dress boots.

This no-name pair so far is holding up. And they look decent too, especially for being reasonably priced. They look good recycling as well.

These Cody James boots have been in my possession for about five years now.

How I discovered this brand I am not sure about.

Most likely an opportunistic algorithm saw my obsession with footwear and recommended the brand.

Regardless, Cody James does make a nice pair of boots.
