This is, imo, the single most ridiculous and simultaneously visually stunning adaptation we have. It’s absolute fanfic garbage yet also the most book accurate. All star cast, but terrible acting. And the practical effects actually earned it an Oscar nomination! It’s a fantastic time 😂
Anyone’s welcome! Just a reminder that the movie, while extremely canon divergent, also does very much give away the whole plot of the book if that’s something you don’t want spoiled. Also please look up content warnings beforehand.
