What i wouldnt give to see Mark Richt do this
Time to Look in the Mirror
Not even a full year ago everyone was talking about Nick Fairley. The Auburn vs Georgia game in 2010 made him famous. Not for being an outstanding football player, but for being "the dirtiest player in the country." That's the label UGA fans gave Fairley for a cheap shot he took on Aaron Murray a year ago. All anyone in Athens, GA was saying was "That's bad sportsmanship!" "That's not SEC football!" "Classless!" "This conference has no place for play like that!" so forth and so on. It's time to look in the mirror Dawg fans. Georgia had a plethora of personal foul, late hits on Vandy last week among them included Nose Guard Kwame Geathers throwing a punch at a Vanderbilt player. Can you imagine the firestorm that would have been caused if Nick Fairley or any other player took a punch at a Georgia player? The pleas from the Georgia fans for SEC commissioner Mike Slive to take action and suspend everyone involved would be through the roof! Take a look in the mirror Georgia folks, Georgia players are doing the same things guys like Nick Fairley were doing last year, and not a single voice has raised a concern about it in Athens.
