Toddleberry
The streets of the little town named Toddleberry were dimly lit. A young boy skipped down a side street, oblivious to the lingering danger.
He was wearing a light blue shirt, and tan khakis. He had a grey sweater, swung over his shoulders, and large black glasses. His sandy brown hair sat messily on his head, bouncing with every step. He skipped out from under a streetlight, continuing down the street, but his small form never hit the next light.
A large, claw-like hand grasped over his face, silencing him completely. An arm clenched his waist, pulling him up against a solid form behind him. Then, suddenly, he shot up. There was a sharp sound of cutting air, as they went higher and higher. Flapping, like that of a large animal. They rose over the rooftops, and above the tree-lines.
Then, they shot forward, as if out of a cannon. The boy screamed against the hand over his mouth. Wind harshly whipped his face, forcing him to close his eyes. They went higher, and faster. The beating sound of flapping piercing the night.
They flew out of Toddleberry, across the nearby woods, and over a small lake. Then, they came to a cliff-range. They were on a collision course for one on the rock formations on top when they went up again. Getting over the formation, there was a hole in the top. Suddenly, they dropped, falling straight into the hole.
The arms let go of the boy as he fell. Wind whipped up against his back, pulling all loose articles completely vertical. His scream was lost in the wind, as he saw the edges of the formation swallow him. He closed his eyes, bracing for the inevitable pain. He blacked out when he hit the ground.
With a sore body, the boy tiredly opened his eyes. It was pitch black, enough that he couldn’t even tell when he opened his eyes. He felt around him to make sure he wasn’t on the edge of another cliff, before wearily standing up. He noticed a weight on his left wrist, and something like an iron bracelet. Not giving it much thought, he tried to get help.
“Hello?” He called out into the darkness. He heard a door creak opened, and someone walk in.
“I’m going to turn on a light, okay?” a soft voice called out, as the steps move to the side of the room.
“Okay,” The boy nodded, partially covering his eyes for the transition.
A small oil lamp that was hanging on the wall was lit, sending warm light into the room. Moving his hands from his eyes, the boy notices the iron bracelet had a large, heavy chain attached. The chain was long, and moved from his wrist to the middle of the room. He was in a large carved out stone room, with a single, closed doorway. He was still in a small cave, underneath the rock formation, and inside of the cliff.
He looked over to the person who turned on the lights. He was a little taller than the boy, and has straight brown hair. He was wearing a navy button up, with black pants, and thick rimmed glasses.
“Hello,” The first boy in the light blue smiled, giving a small wave. “I’m Tim. What’s your name?”
“Loki,” The other boy smiled, showing of bright white teeth, as his eyes sparkled green.
“Like in the Thor movie?” Tim perked up.
“Yeah,” Loki smiled, as he walked over and kneeled in front of Tim.
“D-do you happen to know why I’m here?” Tim asked, looking down at the wrist cuff.
“Because the Dragon Witch brought you here.” Tim felt a shiver go down his back. The Dragon Witch. It was actually a legacy, passed from one to another. They were known to do anything from kick a puppy to burn villages… Villages like Toddleberry.
“What does the Dragon Witch want with me?” Tim whined, feeling fear well up inside of him.
“I don’t know. But that’s why I’m here. I’m here to help you Tim.” Loki said earnestly.
“I’m scared…” Tim whispered, tears welling in his eyes.
“Just take my hand, and everything will be alright.” Loki put out his hand, palm up. Tim took a second, before grabbing the offered hand.
The moment their flesh touched, Loki’s hand cinched. Nails digging into Tim’s wrist, as he held on with a vise grip. Tim felt the warmth drain from his, pulsing out his hand and into Loki’s. His throat becomes dry, and he becomes lightheaded. Finally, Loki let’s go, and Tim’s body readjusts itself. Looking over, Loki kneeled in front of him, as calmly as ever.
Then, Loki’s eyes sparked a vibrant yellow, and remained glowing. Tim screamed, shooting back as far as the chain on his wrist will let him.
“What are you?” Tim yelled, tears sliding down his face.
“I, dearest Tim, am the Dragon Witch.” ‘Loki’ said, with an echoing, looming voice, eyes sparkling red. The voice seemed both male, and female, as if several voices were conjoined together.
“What do you want with me?” Tim screamed, hands balled up against his chest.
“Tim,” The voice cooed, as ‘Loki’ started to change. His skin started peeling off, getting pulled into his body by a slit in the neck, and revealing a new form underneath. The new form was Tim himself. Blue shirt, tan pants, light freckles, messy hair. The dragon witch had copied his exact look. “I want to be you.”
Tim shuddered, as a duplicate of his voice emerged from the creature.
“No,” Tim whispered, denying the reality.
“I didn’t ask your permission,” The Dragon witch scoffed, stalking over to the boy.
“Are you going to kill me?” Tim asked in barely a whisper, leaning against the wall.
“Tim… What would the fun in that be?”

Okay, Vine question here
So I know some people have been generous enough to compile Thomas’s vines by category. Like, there’s Pokémon Pranks compilations, Misleading Compliments compilations, etc. But I’ve been trying to find one for all his Vines involving Toddleberry (I’d rather not comb through his entire Vine archive if I’m looking for something specific, and I don’t think Vine has a search function) and I don't think one exists.
If anyone knows where I could find all his Toddleberry vines at once, please hit me up. And if you don’t, just tell me which of his types of vines you liked best! I always liked the Storytime ones, myself.
