Mahaad dismounted from Slifer and entered the house on the edge of the leased pavilion. “I’m home,” he called.

“Hello, Mahaad,” came Mana’s voice from the living room. Mahaad had seen her lying with her head through the sliding doorway as Slifer descended. Atem groaned pitifully from the same direction. Mahaad sighed and headed that way, setting his laptop bag down by the door.

Sure enough, Atem was lying flat on his back on the sofa with his arm flung over his eyes. Mana regarded him sympathetically from where she rested her head on the carpet.

“How are you, milord?"

“I’m dying, Mahaad.”

“Please tell me you’re dying because you trained extra hard today and you have muscle pain?”

“No,” said Mana, “Atem made Yugi laugh today. It was very cute.”

Atem rolled over and wailed his anguish into the couch cushions.

Wanted to do something sloppy and just for me after a long day, decided on a favourite scene from @toffeecape‘s wonderful fic, Find Yourself In Another Part Of The World

It’s not the only scene I’ve wanted to draw, but little steps for now. Tried to take notes from Winged Dragon of Ra mixed with ‘an actual dragon’ elements for Mana the Tunin-Ra, wouldn’t mind revisiting the design cause the only thing I can comfortably draw is dragons, ya get me?

Chapters: 13/13 Fandom: Hannibal (TV), The Sentinel Complete Summary: Will is an off-brand sentinel. Hannibal is a reputable guide. What could go wrong?

Guys seriously. I never recommend fics but this Fannibal Fic blew me away. It’s AU but follows the episodes by the book, sometimes even dialogue line by line. It has a few plot alterations to make Hannigram more accessible as is a GREAT intro to Sentinel fics, which I had never read, but fell in love with. 

SERIOUSLY. READ IT. You will thank me.

HUH. Fanfic done led me wrong! OTOH this knowledge now opens the door to the delightful concept of Vulcans trying sneakily to get more hugs from humans because they’re so lovely and warm, so that’s a net win :-D

Wait I love this!! WARM LIKE VULCAN. Gosh now I just wish Vulcans were more open to physical closeness, because snuggling a human would probably be very nice. Although....well humans are notoriously touchy-feely as well as compassionate, so maybe we can get this through humans being all “oh no! you feel cold, I gotta warm you up,” and Vulcans just being... tactically quiet on the subject. It’s Fine It’s Medical. (They Think It’s Medical.) (They’re So Warm.)

Yeah they run hot. I always liked the contrast - they strive for control because their passions are too intense otherwise, while humans are comparatively mild and cool and thus it’s safe for them to be more uninhibited.

I like that too! But while it’s certainly true that Vulcans would naturally “run hot” emotionally, have we gotten confirmation that temperament is correspondent to temperature? Because as I’m mulling over this question, I feel like I remember Bones talking about “the ice water in your veins” during one of the times Spock is in the sick bay with some sort of trouble...
