If I wanted to post photos of tasty vegan food and share articles of cute animals all the time, I easily could. However, that’s not what I’m trying to do with the magazine’s platform at all. I’m here to question the actions of those within the vegan and AR communities (and outside of it) that actively oppress other groups through their statements, campaigns, actions, etc., and I’m going to try and promote the voices of others while I do it. If that doesn’t sound like something you want to follow, then I’m sorry to hear that, but I’m confident you can find plenty of other options that won’t question your heroes or single-issue activism that focuses only on the animals. For those who are curious or who are already onboard, please stick around and maybe check out the latest issue. Not surprisingly, it asks a lot of tough questions and highlights the work of some great people, and you can find it through the profile link. Finally, here’s a picture of a sandwich I ate earlier after I finally convinced myself that arguing with people online wasn’t going to be enough fuel for me today. #vegan #veganism #feminism #activism #tofumagazine #veganfood #veganfoodshare #vegansofig #tofu15 #capitalism #selfcare #oppression #animalrights #humanrights (at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) https://www.instagram.com/p/B46zf4yjlO1/?igshid=1nvfhc9ru8ep6
