The opening for the “Pollen Path” show was last night at #tohonochul #gallery in #Tucson . And even though it was Valentine’s Day and a wonderfully #rainynight (a treat for our dry deserts!) it was respectfully well attended! My piece is displayed well- in a prominent position, well lit- and it was the only piece of #wearable art in the show. There were a number of strong pieces - paintings, elegantly rendered line drawings and a noteable wall sculpture (which is both dramatic and playful). My husband is currently in Italy for work so I went with my dear friends @lauraalexander3217 and her husband @fabianalfie ( pictured). The rainstorm made the gardens fragrant with the perfume of the desert creosote bush and the paths were lit up with “fairy lights”, making the walk through the courtyards a dazzling wonderland of layered lights.
