How was The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black? I;ve seen it but never been motivated to read it.

i loved it tbh (this was actually my second read-through). but i also love anything Holly Black writes. i think she’s great at writing characters and even though they’re always in extraordinary circumstances (faeries, vampires, magic, ect.) their emotions, responses, and reactions always seem realistic. she just knows how to make things seem grounded in this world and real, despite there being magic present. which i think is important when you’re writing fantasy based books that take place in our own world~
