Depression is the worst friend a person should be accompanied with in their life. Takashi Mitsuya deals with it in a wonderful way, fighting your own demon and grief is a challenge you decide by yourself and no amount of advices and mockeries in this chapter makes him think otherwise.

Dealing with a future where you succeed in your dream at the price of loosing people you care to is something no one deserves.

We're alone when we make our life choices but what keep us on going when we face problems, are what we call friends.

Takashi Mitsuya chose his friends, and valid ones at that, and I hope with all my heart that this is the best choice you had fallen angel

ok on second thought, mitsuya publicly rejecting that award is honestly such a touching gesture to draken 🥺🥺 draken is the reason he even became a delinquent in the first place and is now the reason he is returning to that world. whether draken wanted him to continue pursuing a career in fashion is irrelevant, since mitsuya follows wherever draken goes, and he likely feels the need to help accomplish draken's dream of getting mikey back
