The adrenaline-filled Lust for Lime XV was officially opened yesterday, October 30, 2019, in Cantabaco, Toledo City. Lust for Lime is a yearly rock-climbing event in Barangay Cantabaco that brings together hundreds of climbers and outdoor enthusiasts from various parts of the country and the world. This trip 🎒 is unimagined cause I didn’t know where we are going & I haven’t research about the popular places in Toledo City. Climbing up & going down of this hill is one of the experience that I will never ever forget. How exhausting it is to climb a hill when you don’t usually do hiking or even an exercise or jogging and most of all, you’re not expecting that kind of treck. It takes me 2hrs to climb the hill and almost 3hrs to climb back down to reach Malubog falls. The sun ☀️ is so hot when we are climbing, that it’s hard for me to catch my breath. And when we got down, the rain 🌧 drops to the point, that all the hard clay soil became slippery when wet. I slip so many times near a cliff so what I do, is to slide my way down from the top just to get down. In the end my feet became so weak and spread all over my body, but I don’t want to be a ‘weight in someone’s shoulder’ so I tried my very best to catch up to them. But what I’m really grateful about is that they live up the phrase ‘no one gets left behind’, though most of us are next to the guide but some are left behind for the last person to be not lost the track of where they pass through and that person is us. Me and the other one who patiently accompanies me and helped me on going down or just there to cheer me up even though I already told that it is ok to go with the others.
