#Jesus #Love #Toloveyouback The most important thing in life is to love God & love others. In order to do that we must first receive God’s love. Think of a sponge. What comes out when you squeeze it is what you put into it in the first place. For us humans, it’s the same concept. Children who receive love from a young age grow up secure & able to love others because they have seen & experienced it firsthand. Therefore we must come to accept God’s Love for us before we can try to love others. Otherwise, our version of love may be twisted, causing more harm than good. In order for our love in God to grow, it must be expressed. Love always longs to express itself. We can do this in different ways. One way is thanksgiving. Yesterday, I explained how thanksgiving turns our attention to God & shows Him that we appreciate His Presence in our life. I also listed tips for thanksgiving at the end. We can also express love through praising God. Personally, I like to sing psalms or make up my own to do this. People express their love through service, helping others or giving to meet needs. Whatever the expression, make sure it’s motivated by love for God. Don’t do it to earn His love; Jesus already paid the price for us to receive God’s love. Because of that, we can complete every task with deep gratitude for God! The more you experience His Love, the more you’ll want to express that same love back to Him & to others around. Your relationship with the Lord can bloom into a tree that bears fruit in the desert. I pray that God would help you receive His Love. I pray that it makes your footing secure & guides you in making decisions. I also pray for you to experience deep peace & pure joy as you fellowship with God. When life squeezes you hard, May His love pour out of you like a sponge taken out of water.
