Happy Sunday to you all. Here is a quick sketch depicting a father/son moment – a scene I have always wanted to draw. I have had the idea in my head for a while now, but I really wasn’t quite sure how I wanted it to come out. I had some few ideas - Should I have them sitting in the park enjoying the summer sun (kids would rather run in the park – this I know) or in the car (father’s eyes are on the road!) or reading a storybook tighter (yay or nay?). ‘Why don’t you take your time and plan it out?’ I hear you ask… I didn’t have any real reason to do this sketch and I wasn’t planning to use it anywhere (this has changed now – I AM GOING TO USE IT so back off!), I just wanted it out of my head. So, I thought, ‘Why do I just start with, say, the father? As soon as I began, I just remembered the experience we always have when binging on these big butter croissants I get from my local supermarket and I thought, ‘Perfecto!’. It turned out well in the end, happy with the ‘moment’ and I love the rough feel of the table.
