So I FINALLY watched Ultraman Rising with my mom & we loved it!!! I was able to fill my mom in on everything I know about Ultraman which isn’t much since it was really rare to be able to watch the show in America!!! We loved it I can’t believe the played Ultraman No Uta & did the original transformation sequence!!! I LOVED IT!!! I REALLY HOPE THEY MAKE A SEQUEL!!! THEY JUST GOT TO!!! So here’s a gif I made!!!

Netflix Announces New “Ultraman” Film

Netflix and Tsuburaya Productions are teaming up on a CG-animated Ultraman feature film. The film is directed by Shannon Tindle and co-directed by John Aoshima from a screenplay by Tindle and Marc Haimes. Tom Knott is producing with co-producer Lisa Poole.

The synopsis for Ultraman reads: Baseball superstar Ken Sato returns  to his home country of Japan to pick up the mantle of Earth-defending superhero Ultraman, but quickly finds more than he bargained for when he’s forced to raise the offspring of his greatest foe, a newborn Kaiju. Struggling to balance the roles of teammate and new father, Ken must confront his own ego, his estranged father, and the conniving Kaiju Defense Force to rise up and discover what it truly means to be Ultraman. Samson & Delilah - 'Starlight In Your Afternoon'

My favourite 'production' moment from the first Samson & Delilah album. 'Starlight In Your Afternoon' started out simply as Anna singing with me playing bowed electric guitar captured by Tom Knott at Airtight Studios in Chorlton. Then we took the project to various churches and living rooms around Manchester to add the rest of the vocals, drums, flutes, synths and even the church bell from St Philips in Salford.

I think there might be more moments like this on the next Samson & Delilah album..
