Meet the Cast: Thomas Kovacs!
Thomas Kovacs starred in the original 1981 slasher-classic MY BLOODY VALENTINE -- Quentin Tarantino's all-time favorite slasher movie and, in the words of Entertainment Weekly: "the most criminally underappreciated of the slasher genre."
His performance prompted director George Mihalka to say, "The actor who I always thought was the absolute best of the bunch in terms of natural instinct was Tom Kovacs."
Tom also appeared in David Cronenberg's mind-blowing horror SCANNERS, as well as several teen comedies in the '80s; HOG WILD, with Michael Biehn, and PINBALL SUMMER aka PICK-UP SUMMER, once again directed by My Bloody Valentine's Mihalka.
Now we're thrilled that Tom is returning to his Bloody roots in the horror genre by starring in VIRGINIA OBSCURA!
