Tom Spicer, the Australian ping pong master!
TOM Spicer, 9 has taken the world by storm with a homemade video of his incredible ping pong ball tricks.
The video posted on YouTube clip by his proud dad Neil on Thursday had amassed almost 215,000 hits yesterday afternoon.The video has been picked up by media across the world, including the Huffington Post and the UK's Mirror. In the clip, Tom bounces a ping pong ball into a cup in a series of incredible trick shots.
The tricks include bouncing the ball off the walls and floors and into the cup. In one shot the cup is sliding across the floor and Tom manages to bounce the ball in to it.
In other shots, he bounces the ball off chairs, a shed roof, wheelie bins and a skateboard.
Mr Spicer has been overwhelmed by the reaction to the video.
"Wow! What an amazing response! Thanks so much for all your comments ... and Tom is stoked, as you can imagine!'' He also responded to claims of trick photography. "There seems to be quite a few comments saying that this is Photoshopped? "I really have no idea as to how you'd be able to create this in Photoshop, unless you have a lot of time on your hands, and believe me, I really don't have that level of commitment ... lol.
"We are an ordinary family, with an ordinary camera, taking really ordinary video clips."
