To Tom Sr.: Why'd you abandon your wife and son?

Tom scoffs at the question. “I didn’t abandon my wife and son. I abandoned a crazy tramp who used magic to force my actions. And her brat is hardly my concern, she brought this upon herself with her freakish witchcraft. I never wanted any part of it and I still don’t. I would much rather forget those two years happened at all.”

To Tom Sr.: What did you do after got away from that witch? Did you ever fall in love? Have other kids? Did you stay a bachelor?

“Well someone is very interested in my life. But I suppose I’ll cater to your very curious needs. When I was finally free from her disgusting spell I went back home, to find my beloved Cecilia. Unfortunately, she had not taken kindly to me running off with that Tramp. I remained at home, courting other people on the odd occasion. As for children, anything can happen can’t it.”

jellyfish: if you had the chance to spend the summer at one place in the world, which one would it be? why?

Tom Marvolo Riddle: (young) Hogwarts. Easily. It is my home, my true home and there is no where else I would rather spend a summer (though anywhere outside Wool’s would do). The whole castle, nearly empty, a library full of books, a dorm to myself, it would be my own sort of heaven paradise.  

Tom Riddle Sr.: I would spend it somewhere warm and expensive, a resort somewhere perhaps. Or the french countryside (in a sizeable manor of course, perhaps at a private vineyard). Just a peaceful and lavish place away from the horridly common residents of Little Hangleton.

walrus: how would you define beauty? do you ever feel beautiful?

Tom “Voldemort”: “Beauty is anything that is unsullied, technically the more symmetrical the more it is perceived as beautiful. So something or someone that is pure and symmetrical. I would say I feel handsome, beautiful is more a term i reserve for women. 

Tom Riddle Sr.: Beauty is purely on the outside, it is anyone that fits traditional standards of attractiveness. No deformations or abnormalities, well groomed, well dressed, and in shape. I am extremely beautiful, I am practically a god send for those who look at me.

hey, tom sr. do you know what your son became because you didn't love him?

“No, I did not follow up on the life of that abomination. Besides, he’s just a child how harmful could he possibly be? Even if he is a freak like his mother. I don’t make it a habit of fearing children if you are suggesting I should. I care very little for the accomplishments or failures of the Tramps boy.”

Tom wasn’t sure why but he felt a drive to kiss her back, to get as close to her as possible. It was as though his very being longed to be close to her. Normally he wouldn’t have given her the time of day and yet... Tom pulled her close by the waist, deepening the kiss, a hand coming up to run through her hair. It was like electricity coursing through his very veins, making his thoughts blur together, and he could have stayed like that all day.

To Tom Sr.: If you did have more children, would you love them? Or would you leave them like you left Tom Jr.?

“If they were normal children that I willingly had with a reasonable and respectable woman? Of course I would love them, and keep them. I would never abandon a child that meant something to me. But ‘Tom Jr.’ as you call it, is an abomination, a reminder of the darkest year of my life. That is a very different situation from actually having a child.”
