S Q U I D S idk where or how will I start... so it was this summer lang (2016) when I met these extra ordinary (oo di kasi sila normal haha) people. I don't have any plans on making friends talaga kasi nga sabi ko sa first day nalng ako makikipag usap. Then nagkaron kasi ng group chat ng mga ustet passers and may kakilala ako na nag add sakin don. After that, idk pero yun nga nagkausap usap kami sa group chat nun sa fb pero nadagdagan ng nadagdagan yung kasali no natabunan kami. Good thing Pia made a new gc na kami kami nalang. And that's where we became close. Para kaming yung lovers na sa internet lang nagkakilala and waiting for the right time na magkita. Until this Aug 1, first day ng orientation namen when we decided na magkita kita na as a whole. Grabe solid day!!!!!! Para kaming mga nag aabang sa airport 😂 lol so yun we had out first picture together na di na edited haha short bond lang yun since we had different schedules. Pero nung Aug3 university wide orientation yun tas free seating pa so magkakatabi kami then we ate lunch together so in short we spent that day na kami kami magkakasama. (Di kami magkakaklase + AM and PM shift kasi) And lastly, Aug 5 spent the whole day with them. Welcome walk yun then after non nagkita kita kami to have our lunch together sa fishermall then we headed back sa university para sa after party kaso 6pm pa yun so nag gaguhan lang kami for the rest of the hours na waiting kami haha nung start na nung party ang arte namen kasi mainit so di rin kami nag party hahaha nag dinner nalang kami magkakasama then yun after nun tsaka kami sumilip dun sa band sa party pero we didn't stay for long since its late na rin. Over all, I spent my whole freshmen week with the squids and I swear it was really a blast!!!!! This is an appreciation post for the people who made my first week of stay at ust truly amazing and memorable. SO MUCH LOVE FOR YOU SQUIDS!!!! 🐙🐙🐙

Another day to experience another freshman day - ICSperience 2015! From EXCITE2015 to the much awaited dawn of the Institute of Information and Computing Sciences (IICS), the first #ICSperience had come to give freshmen a good and happy start with their mother organizations, and that is Computer Science Society (CSS) for Computer Science students. The first day of ICSperience 2015 started with an introduction and a prayer led by the officers and team heads of CSS assigned to every CS block. After the prayer, the students passed balls and whoever caught it shall introduce himself to the whole class by stating his name, the high school he came from, and why they chose Computer Science. The names of the executive board members and facts about Computer Science and the organization were recalled in an activity. It was followed by the presentation of AVPs of different organizations. Games such as the jelly bean game, masking tape game, 'bubong, bintana, pinto, bakuran', and many more followed. The CS freshmen had fun with the games that they played with their blockmates and their respective CSS officers. The day 1 of ICSperience 2015 ended with name recalling, announcements, closing remarks and a prayer. The freshmen ICSperience 2015 was held last August 6, 2015 at the Roque Ruaño building. They were also introduced to the different organizations of the IICS, including CSS, Rotaract IICS, TAG, Static Void Crew and Junior Philippine Computer Society.
