JVLT 014 Motorbike - North East Custom teamed up with Joe Velluto Studio to create a unique motorbike. In this project, product design for mass production meets the uniqueness of custom. An object, normally produced on a large scale, is taken to pieces. All its parts are analyzed and reinterpreted and finally put together again in a new and unique way.

As the 2014 Pritzker Award winner, one of the highest recognitions by a living architect, Shigero Ban shows his talent by recreating a house based on a concept of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s 1924 unbuilt Brick Country House . The use of the furniture storage systems are stealthily incorporated into the structure of the house for support. The sliding glass doors also open to give a seamless integration with the outdoors.
