Tomato Ring Headcanon
Every year on Valentine's Day, February 14th, after the events of Buon San Valentino, Italy Veneziano wears the tomato ring on his right ring finger. Though they were both confused by the misunderstanding, the Italian kept it with him because he does care and love his best friend, Germany. He thought of it as a special ring only to be worn on this occasion. He may not have said 'yes' after the years gone by, but people in Germany mistook the German and Italian as a married couple whenever they were close together and the Italian had the ring on his right hand. This made Ludwig feel so embarrassed because of the different customs in his home. In Germany, the engagement ring is worn on the left hand, but moved to the right when married.
