Omg i just read this and i'm so happy he came back! Not knowing where he had gone must've been heorrible :/ since you were talking about identification: maybe chip him? Or get a really light collar that he doesn't mind that much?

Yeah I’ve thought about chipping earlier too, it would be good, but hhh getting him to a vet is a whole struggle of its own lmao. Not that we don’t have to anyway. Same reason we actually can’t give him a collar. I thought about a tight one so he won’t get stuck in bushes since he always has to crawl through everything, but he has some sort of allergy (I think????) that always keeps his jaw scratched open to some degree and we’re worried that any collar would just irritate it more and make it worse :/
