ive always wanted to play champions of the just but i love in hushed whispers SO MUCH

you should give it a try sometime! it’s got some deliciously creepy Fade stuff, provides a good intro to Cole that made me like him a lot more, and Barriss is great, and there’s some really good Dark AU fic material in there

also tbh a lot of the plot didn’t make sense to me until after I’d played both paths. which is annoying.

22. Popular character you hate?

Uh, god, I like most characters in Animorphs? I wouldn’t characterize any of the characters I hate as popular, either? Like I hate the Ellimist, but I’ve never heard of him being anyone’s fave. Mostly I only ever hate certain portrayals of characters rather than the characters themselves, but everyone is entitled to have different interpretations and I don’t like resent that or anything. I’m really trying hard, but I don’t really think I hate any Animorphs characters!

23. Unpopular character you love?

Does Cassie count? There’s almost nothing I get down with less in this fandom than people who hate Cassie ~for reasons they can rarely articulate~. I’m glad, at least, that the Tumblr side of fandom doesn’t do as much hating on Cassie. 

I don’t see a lot of complaining about anyone else besides Erek, who I don’t have strong feelings about. I will say that an underrated one-off character is Esplin 9466 Lesser. I would love to see more done with him, because the Esplin twins are batshit cannibals and that’s something I’d love explored more in this series for children.
