ok so i think the worst thing about this whole babygate shambles is the fact that collectively no one is getting any closure its like we have been dumped with this massive piece of news (which could be true or false, but either way my point stands) + the impact its had on the fans (whatever that impact is, positive or negative) isnt being acknowledged by the band at all and from a band that claims to have a special relationship with its fans (this is a whole other kettle of fish but im thinking that this is how the fandom percieves its relationship to the boys - i mean they released action1d like a week ago and the whole POINT of that was to EMPHASISE the relationship between the fans and the band, and provide a space for DISCOURSE so that we can actively change things for the better - the powers that be are aware of this and using it), this is a really crap move bc i think one of the worst things you can do in any relationship is leave someone hanging emotionally. + the longer it takes for them to address this the more people are going to remove themselves / distance themselves bc theres only so much you can put in and get nothing back before deciding its not worth it. + right now we are getting nothing back from this band about this weird baby news. basically it is not a very cool thing to do and not a great long-term marketing strategy
