So here’s Day 6 and 18 i.e. fave OD character and fave human (still remains a mystery how she ended up as Nataka’s friend)

Yes they have no eyes, and yes you may laugh at them cause the shading is to erase my mistakes if only it was that easy to do so in life

Still though, really hope I can do something else other than shitty drawing ahahahaha

SSAU: Human World

The Momijibayashi family had few visitors, though that was to be expected. After all, who would bother to go find a house in the middle of a forest? It was of no matter to the adults of the house however, because as long as their daughter was safe, any cost was fine to them.

Though, for Rika, this isolation also meant very limited contact with the modern world. Sure, she had an entire forest to play in, but that was no fun when mom and dad weren’t around. Usually she would choose to just turn on the television or maybe invite some bunnies into the house.

Today, however, even the fate decided that her life was too boring and decided that something should happen. So, it was of great surprise to Rika when the sound of one of the windows in the kitchen breaking rang through the house.

Naturally, to the young child of six years, the window shattering was something out of the norm to her, and she slowly walked towards the source. Sure enough, there were glass shards littered across the floor, though the perpetrator...

It was a ball? Clearly it had to be, with the shards poking against the rubber ball. Was it intentional? She didn’t know, this was the first time it happened. People usually didn’t bother going this deep into the forest.

“Oh no oh no...” Rika turned her head towards the broken window, guessing that that voice was that of the real perpetrator. From what she could tell, it was a girl, making her even more suspicious. Another kid, her age, in the middle of the woods with no adults? What were the odds?

Well, low, but still reasonable enough.

She pulled a chair towards the window as she heard murmuring and... was that the sound of clanking metal outside? Maybe the stranger was trying to get her ball back? The young she-devil brushed aside the glass shards trailing from the window, wanting to find out what she was saying.

“Eh, it’s just a house, no one’s home. I’ll just have to be quick.” The clearly one sided banter continued to go on, and Rika stood on the kitchen counter near the broken window. She wondered if she had popped her head out of the window, would the stranger have a shock? That would be funny.

In fact, she would do just that.

“Just be quick and-AAAAAAAH!” She was pleased to be met with a loud scream when she opened the window and roared loudly. Not only did the culprit have a shock, she also jolted and lost her grip on the pipes. Rika grinned as the stranger fell to the floor in a full Mufasa’s death style.

The strange girl rubbed her head, groaning from the impact. Luckily for her, the fall had been a short one, only leaving her with a few scrapes and bruises. She hurled her fist at the other kid, who had the nerve to laugh after her attack. “Hey, what’s the big idea?!”

“Dunno. What are you doing here?”

“Trying to get my ball back. Why didja scare me? That was mean!”

“But why didja come through the window?”

“I-uh...oh.” She stayed silent as the gears in her mind finally kicked in. She probably should have gone to the door first. “Uhhh... no reason...”

Rika narrowed her eyes at the strange girl, before shrugging as she determined that she was no threat. She opened the window before sitting at the window sill. “So, what’s your name?”

“Eh? What do you need it for-” Her eyes widened in alarm before she waved frantically, inciting the rather relaxed demon at the window to raise a brow. “Wai-wait! Don’t call the police! It was really an accident! I promise I won’t-“

Rika smiled at the funny response before sliding off the window sill and stretched out a hand towards the other, who took it hesitantly. “I’m Rika! I’m not gonna call the police. So what’s your name?”

“You’re really not gonna call the police?”

The demon girl shook her head.

“Ah... I’m Tomoe! Nice to meet ya!” Tomoe pulled herself up, smiling hesitantly at this new sort-of-friend she made. Then she looked up. “Can I ask a question?”

Rika looked up at the sky in confusion before nodding. “Okay? What’s that?”

“How do we get back in?”

Fun fact: It was going to be Nataka, but then I changed it to Tomoe because frankly I just love Tomoe and her optimism

Besides, I always wished that Rika knew Tomoe before she died because that would give a much cooler idea behind how the actual hell Tomoe ended up befriending those two (I mean people can befriend anyone they want, but I live for some interesting ideas)

And I’ll probably put this on AO3 to make it a sort of compilation that I can always go back to
