This one’s personal! On quite a few levels actually, but mostly because of the “full circle” opportunity it has presented. Having the opportunity to work so closely with such a passionate and talented woman (who also happens to be a dear friend) has been a fun and gratifying experience! To have access to the entire process, from seeing her create the concept, to writing the script, to preparing for filming, working on set, and now in post making decisions and finalizing has been so enriching! I am not only a better artist, but I think, a better man from this journey. There is a pride there. I’m proud of my friend, to see how she has evolved, but there is also something more powerful under the surface. Call it, prestige filmmaking, if you will, because not only has this process been important to me personally, I know that once complete and screened, the film, and conversations about it, will be become deeply important and personal to audiences too. And that, ladies and gentlemen, for an artist, is the pinnacle of filmmaking!! #Repost @whatsthealternativeproductions ・・・ We truly couldn’t be more proud to officially share the poster for our upcoming short film, Tomorrow. We’re also proud (and excited) to share that Director Karis Campbell, Executive Producer Paul Howard, Composer Lindsay Marcus, and Editor Gareth Fient are all hard at work putting the final touches on the film! We’ll share more about the film and our premiere soon… but for now… please enjoy our official poster! #tomorrowshort #staytuned #moretocome #independentfilm #femaledirector #shortfilm #comingsoon #movieposter #whatsthealternativeprod https://www.instagram.com/p/BmyuQ7FAoVb/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=13toaoo44821n
