~This is a place where I feel at home~

I can 100% say that if this song is used in any tv show or movie, I will cry! I wanted to share some insight about why Friday was so emotional for me. It was my last day on placement as a nursing student. I have a month and a half left of my degree and you could say I’m a little emotional. To add to that, on Friday I was scout nursing for c-sections plus there was an emergency one that I found it really difficult to hold it together for. I’m a very emotional person at the best of times so I was a mess on Friday. To top it off, I got an email letting me know that I hadn’t got one of my new grad positions which didn’t surprise me but I was just hoping for once that one of my gut instincts would be wrong. By mid November, it will be the first time since 2003 that I haven’t been in some form of education, so I guess you could say I’m feeling a bit sentimental at the moment.
