Admittedly, the question was sort of expected, considering what he often claims to be. However, Rei wasn’t expecting to hear it from Kuro, of all people. Hence his stunned silence at he stared at his co-worker (and former classmate) for a good minute.

“My, my, Kiryu-kun…In all the years we’ve known one another, and you ask me that question just now?” Rei chuckled, albeit looking aside as he tucked a stray lock of hair behind his ear. “Of course I drink blood; I’m a vampire~”

In all the years past, and Kuro’s blood still smelled so delicious—Rei forced himself to keep looking away from him, and to maintain a jovial tone.

“…That said, I’m afraid that I cannot offer you a ‘demonstration’; I’m…still quite full.”

      Kuro returned Rei’s dumbfounded stare with an incredulous look, but for him to bring it up in the first place meant that, somewhere beneath the skepticism, he believed in the possibility of his co-worker actually being the vampire he claimed to be...? No, he’s still trying to figure that out by approaching it from a rational point of view, but with everything that happened during Halloween, he couldn’t help but wonder. Rei’s affirmation came naturally given his reputation as a self-proclaimed vampire, so of course he’d maintain that image even now... 

      “ ...Yeah, ‘course you are. Wasn’t intendin’ on gettin’ one from you to begin with so don’t worry, ” he scoffed in disbelief, admittedly uncertain of how he’d even process witnessing such a thing for himself but regardless, he’s quick to dismiss the thought of it.

      ‘ Damn, I must look like an idiot for askin'. Dunno what was I expectin’... but he’s sure actin’ shiftier than usual about it, ain’t he? ’ A thought he kept to himself, as he had noticed body language from Rei typically indicative of lying... or at least withholding information and not disclosing the entire truth. Annoyed as he was by his co-worker’s reluctance to make eye contact with him, he wouldn’t press him any further on the matter and tried to change the subject.

      “ So you’re eatin’ better for once? Well, you look healthier, so good for you... ” Not only that, but Rei had returned from his sudden trip looking completely rejuvenated, as if he had gotten some much-needed R & R. That’s what Kuro believed at first, but the timing of it all felt far too strange and thinking back, Keito had been especially high-strung about it, leaving Kuro with a doubt he couldn’t quite shake off...

- A self-conscious cough was made; Keito wasn't used to receiving compliments about his wings. To him, they looked dull and plain, a dirty white tinged with what appeared to be a sickly green.

- "I don't know what you're looking at, Eichi. That couldn't have been mine..." Little did the spectacled idiot know, his wings were in dire need of cleaning...But, who has the time, or effort to clean them? Not him.

Eichi long fingers reached out to run along the feathers. They was so much different from his own white slightly tinted with yellow at the tips. "You are not giving yourself enough credits, it is yours I am looking at right now, isn't it?"

Of course they wasn't like Wataru wings and how they had caught his attention, that wasn't something there should be informed to Keito if he wanted to reach his goal for today. " Let me groom them for you, and I promise I will not pluck your wings, doesn't it seem like a fair deal?"

“Yeah, I guess a lot of them are supposed to stay open pretty late...?” Some even stayed open all-night, if he wasn’t mistaken.  “Either way, doesn’t really matter, I guess - not hard to find a place to eat in Tokyo,” He grinned, shrugging his shoulders at this.

“I just kind of feel like junk food, you know? Just some good old guilty pleasure food.”

Plots please! Either Rei and Shu, Midori and Shinobu(+Tetora if you wanna), any verse.

send me “plots please” … and I’ll respond with  3 (or more)  interesting  plots / relationships / connections I can think of for our muses! ( x )

Shu and Rei ( Demon Verse ) - If by some chance Rei and Shu are attacked by a hostile entity while Madara isn’t around, these two would have to fend for themselves, but Shu would take it upon himself to protect Rei, since Madara entrusted him with Rei’s care while he’s away. Shu has various security measures around his domain that won’t make it easy for just anyone to bypass them, but it’s not impossible for a particularly crafty demon to invade his territory. While his combat capabilities are nowhere near Madara’s, Shu relies on other tricks up his sleeve to fend off a threat.

Shinobu, Midori, Tetora ( Demon Hunter Verse ) - I want to put these boys in peril, because when am I not doing that to my own muses? It’ll be a test of character, I swear. But in this case, it’d be the sort of situation that really tests their character, especially in a time of crisis. Maybe it’s during a Wolf raid, and they’re trapped somewhere, having to hold the fort until reinforcements arrive. Bonus, neither Chiaki nor Kanata are around, leaving them to fend for themselves. Alternatively, Shinobu gets kidnapped by an underground society and the rest of Ryuseitai tracks him down to rescue him, only to uncover a lot of mysteries and secrets along the way... *dun dun dun* 

Shinobu, Midori, Tetora ( Magical Boy Verse ) - They all meet each other as junior high school students and think they’re Magical Boys who just happened to run into each other but somehow, they end up crossing paths again in the same idol unit in high school. Shinobu thinks it’s fate, but Midori and Tetora are free to make of it what they will. 

In any case, now that they’re pretty much inevitably involved with each other by this point. we’ve got our usual ‘villain of the week’ type plots you usually see within the genre, but I’d also love to explore the part of the genre that reminds us that these guys are still young teenagers at the end of the day, who have to balance the duties of being a Magical Boy and the responsibilities of being a student/idol, as well as the complications that could arise from it. 

Also, training montages, where they try to get a better grasp on their powers. Results may vary.
