#TonightOnTheLaser - Maintenance. Maintenance delayed today’s fun project. You know you know that lasers are cool, but did you know they get filthy? We literally had to tear my laser apart (thank goodness we’re out of warranty 🙄) to get the heat sink and FAN cleaned! My house was filling up with smoke because it was so gummed up. Of course I “cleaned” what I could reach during my normal maintenance, but I had no idea about the heat sink in there blocking my attempts at normal fan cleaning. Just yikes. Apparently the “now” way to clean your Glowforge Pro is with a $30 can of aerosol degreaser. No wonder 😳 https://www.instagram.com/p/B33btkdDdA9/?igshid=p4ee5cuqmttp

#Repost @em2astudios with @get_repost ・・・ #TonightOnTheLaser, I’m prototyping a box for a particular game called #Illimat. One of the components is a rotating box lid. I’m hoping to achieve that with magnets. We’ll see! (Personal project. I am no way associated with Illimat or their Kickstarter. Just a gaming nerd making a box for a friend as a gift while hoping the prototype can work with other games.)
