I know the most widely accepted theory about Pickles’ wristbands is that they hide old self-harm scars, but I prefer to think they hide shitty stick-and-poke tattoos he let Tony give him one night when they were absolutely wasted: A shitty snake that looks like a worm on a string on one wrist, and a barrel that doesn’t really look like anything at all on the other.

Something that never fails to amuse me: The thought of Snakes N’ Barrels having been associated with real 80s bands. They toured with KISS. Pickles had a one-night-stand with Lita Ford. Tony has a long-running feud with Slash over the top hat. Sammy is really good friends with Rick Allen. Snazz had a girlfriend get stolen by Angus Young. St. Cecilia dated Tommy Lee for a few months.

Pickles woke in a plush but nondescript hotel room to the sound of his own voice from the other side of the wall.
