magnus gets a video call from seth one day. he’s fucking covered in dirt. it’s the middle fo the night. he’s in the graveyard with a shovel and a handful of dirty jewelry. “heh, mags, look - look what my mahm left me.”

magnus pinches the bridge of his nose and marvels at the fact seth hasn’t ended up getting a life sentence at this point. “I thought you were going to pay your condolences.”

“it’s candolences, mags. and, heh, I did. see? right here at the graveyard. payin em, heh, right now.”

there are sirens in the distance. seth curses and drops the shovel. the phone call cuts a few moments later as he tries to hop the fence. 

he hates his boyfriend.
