Writing original fiction. Trying to come up with a strange vampire name that doesn't sound like something an edgy 90's goth would call themselves.

This is difficult.

Because we’re apparently a family of budding hoarders (I swear, today I unpacked a freaking VCR!!), I haven’t had the time to outline the past couple of months. Because of that, I won’t be doing NaNoWriMo this year. Cue pouting from me.

However, I do happen to have the outline of the rest of You Hold Me in the Dark all ready and waiting to go. So, I’m going to use this time to get back into the routine of writing on a daily basis. Starting tomorrow. Today, I need to read up on what I’ve written so far so I can get back into the feel of the story.

Does anyone actually remember the story?

Also, how are you guys doing?

There are giant rattlers in my stomach. I’m so ready and so very not ready.

The first draft of my novel outline is done.

Now to send it off to get ripped to shreds.

I have the first act of my novel outlined. In doing this outline, I ended up having to create another character because I realized I was having the main character doing more leg-work than was realistic.

We’ll see how many more characters I’ll have to create as I type up this outline... tomorrow. Damn this illness.

Fuck it. He’s just going to wake up, stroll out of his lair, and decide to call himself Tatsu.

And, yes, it’s going to amuse him that no one around him fucking gets that he’s not even hiding what he is.

Ravishu is subtle, Tatsu likes to see how close he can get before people will be like “Hold up...”

Yes, I like this. Too damn bad he’s not waking up until the third book. Maybe the very end of the second.

I’m literally sitting here trying to figure out how certain creatures in my (original) story are created.

The way I’m thinking of it, vampires are not going to be easy to create. No “accidentally” turnings. This will actually be what keeps them from overtaking humans and other creatures.
