In 2001, Tony Fadell worked on the original iPod and helped lead the concept and design. After 5 years Tony was promoted to senior VP of the iPod division but decided to depart from the company in 2008 to focus on his startup Nest. To leave a position of that caliber was no easy feat and self doubt surely kicked in more times than he can remember.
