Marrakech June 14th 1984
After Paris, Madonna and co. travelled to Marrakech for her final promotion of Holiday (to be aired on French tv) During the trip the car broke down, on top of the heat and with no food and no way to get to the hotel Madonna had a major meltdown. The gang finally hitchhiked in a truck with livestock. Once at the hotel Madonna refused to leave and taped her final tv appearance at the hotel. These photos were taken the same day.
Tony Frank I remember meeting Madonna in Morroco. She was very angry because her car stopped running in the middle of the road, and I thought to myself that she would be a pain in the ass to deal with. But then I realized she was just like any other human being. It was all after a long journey by plane, then by car, and then having her car die in the middle of the Morrocan road… I mean, I think she was very human, and we would all have had the same reaction.
