Iron Man Vs. Captain America
There has been a lot of talk in the Marvel world about the upcoming film Captain America: Civil War. First off, Robert Downey Jr. wasn't expected to continue to make anymore movies with Marvel since his contract had been completed with Iron Man 3. Though as many know, Iron Man still has a huge part to play in the films to come, and honestly, no one could portray the playboy philanthropist better than Robert Downey Jr. This led to a new contract being signed for two more films. These films being included in Marvel's Phase 3 movie slate. Well back to Tony and Steve beating the crap out of each other. The two super-heros are meant to go against each other with ideals that make them both believe their each doing the right thing for humanity. And even more exciting then an all out battle between two heroes, the rest of the heroes will take sides in this epic battle of ideals. Hence, the name Civil War. Spicing up things even more, old villains and new villains will be thrown into the mix.
Just talking about the subject had in excitement. The film is not set to be released until May 6, 2016, which really makes me want to cry out in frustration from such long a wait. I honestly find myself already taking sides in this "civil war". I feel that Tony Stark will show Captain America a lesson in being a total badass. And this may just be due to the fact that I favor RDJ as an actor or that the Iron Man suit is the shit. I'm just excited to see which villains return to join into the fray. I know that Bucky Barns has to return and continue to remind Steve Rogers of his past life. One of the biggest questions is which side is each hero to take? Whoever has the Hulk on their side sure will have a distinct advantage in this battle of the ages. Though the trailer for The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron shows the Hulk going up against one of Tony's oversized suits, which might show where the Hulk's allegiance may lie in the film to come. Whatever it may be, "It's gonna be huge" as Robert Downey said when asked about Civil War. Who do you think will come out as victor? Let me know in the comments.
