Inktober 2017 Part Dos: I drew another orc. I’m turning Inktober into Orctober (I didn’t think of that myself (I stole it)) And a gnome who I regret not putting a flower in his beard so I put one in his hat. They’re very much in love...I like a small/tall dynamic in stuff...I think it’s cute.

This the gnome knight Urli the Black and his wife Rakka Skullsplitter, though she prefers Rosie, and they have a lot in common. Like being very different from the average member of their species what with Urli going off to become a knight instead of farming and Rosie not being into fighting at all with the moment she earned the name Skullsplitter from her clan being the moment she realized “this isn’t for me.” She much prefers gardening. (That’s how they met, Rosie used to tend to a lord that Urli served’s garden.) Needless to say they’re both enormous disappointments to their families. Specifically Urli’s parents and Rosie’s entire clan because orcs are raised communally. Urli’s parents do like Rosie, though, weirdly enough and Rosie’s clan likes Urli too. He killed the Warlord Surnaraug Gianteviscerator and that dude was hardcore, orcs already have a healthy respect for gnomes, them being vicious a-holes and all but that’s just badass.

And before you ask, no, Rosie does not mind Urli wearing an orc tusk as a trophy. Orcs wear body parts of their vanquished enemies all the time including those of rival orcs. She’s used to it.
