Do you have any headcanons about what Grace calls Peter and Stakh? 🥺
(booming voice) Yes.
for a while both dudes are "sir" ("no sir, yes sir") like she's an orphaned victorian child talking to the factory owner she works for [to be fair she is orphaned. not victorian anymore but she is orphan]. after a while she ends up calling peter by his name (so. well peter. or technically piotr/пётр that's his name). he's #conflicted about being a Father but he's perfectly fine being like a carer, so he doesn't mind when she slips and call him "dad", but she catches herself. maybe calls him petya too. few times. i think she calls him dad when she's sooo tired. not on purpose. so tired + so well cared-for [compared to. how it was before i guess which is a pretty low bar tbf] it just slips out.
rubin is sir until he's stanislav. he has Deep Issues wrt to fatherhood so he's like. "NOT the dad that stepped up, but the step-dad" type of deal. he'd whole-body cringe if he was called dad. he's stanislav :) he's very rarely stakh to grace. he's stanislav 👍 there's a kind of like... respectful distance between them but it's where love grows :)
