I’m sorry it took me this long to answer! But thank you very much for asking! I’m answering with Sofia from The Opposite of Connection, since it’s my only WIP where they have cameras and I can answer the 17th question :D
7. Did they have lots of friends as a child? Did they keep any of their childhood friends into adulthood?
Sofia didn’t have a lot of friends growing up. She was living in a small city and was kind of “the odd kid”. She had her goth phase, played a lot of video games, liked girls (too) and listened to metal. There wasn’t exactly like-minded people in her peers. However, when she was a preteen, she got to know a Dutch girl (ethnically Pakistani), Kiran, via internet. They met while playing MMOs together and it formed into a lifetime of friendship.
17. Do they like to take photos? What do they like to take photos of? Selfies? What do they do with their photos?
Sofia takes a lot of photos mainly because most of her friends are internet friends so she posts a lot of photos on social media so they can keep up with her life. She mostly like taking photos of her two bunnies, but she does take selfies too. She’s not good at smiling to camera, so she usually has a completely emotionless face when she’s in a photo.
26. How do they act when they’re happy? Do they sing? Dance? Hum? Or do they hide their emotions?
Sofia is not good at all at showing her emotions. She does smile a bit more when she is happy and her laugh comes easier.
27. What makes them sad? Do they cry regularly? Do they cry openly or hide it? What are they like they are sad?
Since her mother committed suicide, she has been quite out of touche from sadness. She hasn’t let herself properly grieve. She can feel sadness much more easily for someone that for herself. Seeing people she cares about going through tough times makes her sad. She doesn’t cry much, but when she does, she hides it. Sad things makes her usually just anxious. She has OCD and it fuels from her down moods. She is in therapy and is learning to deal with her emotions with healthier ways, like drawing, talking etc., but it takes time.
46. Do they make a good first impression? Does their first impression reflect them accurately? How do they introduce themselves?
It might depend a lot on what someone would consider good impressions. But mostly, she doesn’t give the best first impression. She has very bad case of resting bitch face and piercings and hairstyle with shaved sides doesn’t really help make her look less imitating. In a way, that she could totally fuck you up, the impression is kinda accurate, but in a way, that she wouldn’t hurt anyone ever, it’s not at all accurate. Her obsessions are about hurting others and herself, and she goes to great lengths with her compulsions to prevent that from happening. These obsessions are very disturbing to her and involuntary. She doesn’t make friends very easily, but when she do, she is extremely loyal, protective and overall sweet and loving. She very introverted and a bit shy, though she covers her shyness into indifference.
