Here’s the finished version of my Auburn Tigers tribute! Originally, it was going to be only Nova flying over Samford Hall, but it seemed too simple and full of empty space. So I began adding in more of more Auburn icons, such as the Stadium, Toomer’s Corner, a few players, and the Auburn banners. Now it is a tribute to Auburn’s heritage. It is also a send off for Nova, our Eagle who retired this year. So Nova is shown on his last flight over the Stadium as Spirit flies in to take up his torch and continue his legacy.
If you are an Auburn fan and are interested in this piece, I am selling prints on Fine Art America. It is a wonderful site with 1000s of art to choice from, and it lets you by nice products with the art on the as well (such as mugs, totes, phone cases, etc.)
