Roguefort having an arc about running out of time is kind of clever (if intentional, still a fun coincidence either way) given how infamous cheese and dairy in general is for spoiling in a matter of hours when left outside the fridge.

Thinking about how all of Rogueforts relationship description are friendly despite being between either potenial victims of their theft or detectives, knowing that plus considering this Jelly description I feel like it’s trying to Imply that Roguefort Cookie is trying their hardest to stay on good terms with everyone despite it all... hm.

Almond’s kingdom story description actually starts off with about how much effort he puts in his appearence to look prime and proper (though the text reveal that those efforts are in vain due to the running around he will eventually be doing)
With Roguefort you kind of just know reading their story description that this crookie’s always dressed to impresse. Personally I like to belive that the holes in their clothing and rip in thier tophat were the results of their inevitable running away similar to Almond.

I like to belive that Walnut’s trail does take place In her and Almond’s home and all the cats are just alleyway cats Walnut keeps feeding so they follow her home and let themsleves in his house because they’re cats they don’t care. Almond begrudgingly accepts being the crazy cat lady.
