Hearing about how @fnafmangl 's Dolly Corleone is a pretty flexible lady in her own right inspired me to do a fan art piece of her showing off her flexible skills as a contortionist. :) I'd figured she'd from time to time put on flexible acts such as extreme body poses and being able to fit inside small boxes for either public performances or just something to do at home to keep herself in shape. As if Dolly wasn't an amazing woman before. :D Dolly Corleone belongs to @fnafmangl

why would we think an episode called Lion 4 would reveal stuff about Lion? We're just grasping at straws here, we have too high expectations!!

right?you know what, I think it’s actually our own fault, honestly. like, this is not the first time the staff have thrown misleading titles at us, us expecting to learn more just to be met with pointless padding and worldbuilding “clues” that are way too vague and small and unnoticed and subtle to be considered as moving the plot along.

Yeah I get ya, its hard not taking attacks on things you like personally. Hell, I even do it. My post was also related to a discussion on my NOTPs where I said Daisy & Donald Duck are my NOTPs. Like we both agree they are cute in the newer versions, hell even the old muppet babies show had them have better chemistry. I just feel like in the original show it was written in a way that i interpret as a bit toxic with how Piggy was written and her behavior regarding kermit. Stay awesome my friend!

Yeah I personally didn’t like Piggy’s writing at all in the original show. She became my favorite but I never liked the way they treated her.

And I also didn’t like Kermit’s writing either. Especially how he didn’t care about her in S1 - 3. It wasn’t until S4 and S5 (which was after the first movie) that they started writing him better.

I mean the Christopher Reed episode showed that he actually could feel jealous when she fawns over another person. Like Piggy didn’t intend to make him jealous there, he felt it all on his own.

And in Season 5, where Piggy got turned into a statue, Kermit was so worried about her and stopped everyone from making fun of her. Like that’s how you write character development.

But I’m glad they started developing and writing the relationship and interactions much better in the later projects.

I didn’t become a HUGE shipper of Kermiggy til the 2011 movie. When I saw the moment Piggy saw Kermit again and him looking at her, I felt butterflies in my stomach. It’s weird but they gave me this feeling that I could believe they were in love with each other. Ahaha.

Donald Duck's entire existence is shaped so heavily on Scrooge and because of the ups and downs of Scrooge's character I believe that his feelings regarding Scrooge are never black and white. "I love my uncle Scrooge BUT...." I love Scrooge as a character but often his impact on Donald makes me sad.

Agreed!  It’s like loving Scrooge has to come with conditions.  Especially with the way Scrooge has grown in the time Donald has really gotten to know him, which would just make it more conflicted.  I think this would go both ways too, Scrooge has a lot of “I love my nephew Donald BUT....” to him for a myriad of reasons.  He’s lazy, he’s temperamental, he’s a spendthrift...

He reminds Scrooge of everything he lost when his sisters left...

But he also helped Scrooge regain a family again, and brought not only himself but the triplets into his life.  And of course, he considers Donald the richer of the two of them, because he has a family that loves him.  So there’s a lot of conflict there, too.

This is why I’m SO excited for the DuckTales reboot.  We’ll finally get to see some real interaction between Scrooge and Donald in animation.  We got a taste of it back in the original DuckTales and I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely ready for more.

Your post about there being nothing wrong with being cis is great. I thought I was trans for years because I made the mistake of trusting advice from this site. "Hey I like dolls and don't really feel manly" in hindsight any rational person would say I'm just a feminine cis guy but on my last blog when I asked I got like 50 responses saying "wow you're trans uwu welcome sister here are some articles" this site can mess with your head if you're not careful. Stay awesome friendo.

I’m glad I could help and I’m sorry you had troubles like that. Gender crises can be awful. I should know, I’ve lived it. That’s why I want to try and cut down on them as much as possible.

It’s important to let people know that there’s nothing wrong with being trans or with exploring your gender if that’s what you want to do, but it’s equally important NOT to pressure folks into exploring something they don’t need to explore. It can lead to a lot of suffering and heartache for them.

What's your opinion on Gus Goose?

Oh man I’m sorry I’m late to reply again! 

Okay, here are my thoughts on Gus. This may sound a little odd, but I assume him to be the kind of person who’s stoic and calm under pressure. And you know what, the Duck/McDuck family NEEDS to have at least a couple people like that around, given how temperamental and impulsive like 95% of them are. 

It’s a bit of a mystery as to why Gus chose to continue living with Grandma when all her grandchildren left to pursue careers and lives in the city, but I believe it’s because he’s very kind-hearted and tolerant, and didn’t want to leave her alone. He knows how she hates being alone even if she pretends she’s too busy to feel it. So yes, he lives with her to keep her company. And the city life isn’t really for him, anyway. Why shouldn’t he stay with the woman who practically raised them all when he doesn’t have children of his own or other obligations to take care of? Plus being around his active Grandma should help him get over his laziness if by a little bit, at least:P.

Do you think Count Duckula and Scrooge McDuck would be friends?

I’d like to THINK so-- Duckula is a really friendly guy, after all, and doesn’t do much harm. But Scrooge probably really looks down on the fact he has his Nanny and Butler do everything for him. You’re a grown duck, you can do SOME things. (Duckula is a good kid, with some troubles. You let him stay innocent, Scrooge, and don’t be mean. :c )
