Dugan’s face lit up in an instant! So much so that he started waddling from the pressure of his wings rising up. As a wind-up toy, he was used to this.
“Battleship! Battleship! I wanna play Battleship!” He chanted, whirring around the slinky toy with each excited flap. Checkers was a classic, but chess always confused the little plaything. The name ‘battleship’ had a neat ring to it, but it took a moment for it to hit him that he’d never even heard of the game before.
“...how d’ya play Battleship?”
