She'd found the pack scrounging around one of the abandoned pet stores, and the moment she offered them even the smallest bit of attention, they just clambered right up her leg and wouldn't leave her alone.

She suspected that they were possibly pet rats left behind when the pet store evacuated. Poor things.

Maybe Bubbles could help out with them? After all, she was the resident animal person. If something was wrong with an animal, everyone went to her for guidance.

She just hoped she'd extend that compassion to animals like rats. While Addy loved them, she knew that they weren't everyone's cup of tea.

Addy trudged up the steps of town hall, pausing every now and then to gently push a rat back into her pocket. When she found Bubbles, she offered a nervous smile before waving.

"H-Hi, hello! I'm uh, A-Adeline. I'm uh...uh t-the hero." Well, that wasn't very descriptive. There were like a bajillion heroes in the world.

Man it still felt so weird to be regarded as some...legendrgy hero from some prophecy.

"N-Nice to meet you! I was wondering if you could help with some animals I-I found."

One did not live for long as she did without gathering experience and noticing certain mannerisms. The boy was adorning sunglasses today, despite clouds hovering overhead. Raimundo's confident demeanor suggested he had a new trick, up his sleeve and the fact that she could sense some power upon Brazilian boy's visage did little to help in hiding it.

"Oh?" Celestial primate tapped her chin with curled index finger. "You sure about that, laaite? My skills can easily break bones... Ah, but what is life without challenge?"

With that said, she threw a swift kick at him. It was impressive that he managed to dodge the hit. Once, twice, thrice! A smirk played across her face and she suddenly opened four portals to put all her limbs through. The glasses may have seen outcome already, but as punches were thrown in overwhelming succession, feet grabbed back of his head. Before he could blink, glasses were slipped off and fidgeted by right, monkey foot. Sitting down with confidence, Alkebu-lan grinned at Xiaolin warrior cheekily.

"Not bad, laaite. You are learning." She then flung glasses back at him, via foot. "Keep this up and you may be ready for what is to come."

"O-O-One mom-moment pl-please..." Darn glitching! Always happens at the worst time. She's just going to bash her head into the nearby wall a few times before it finally sorts itself out. Much better.

"There we go! Good as new! What were you saying beforehand? I couldn't hear due to all the static blaring in my ears."

I'm a hero too! Well, I'm trying to be one. Maybe we can beat it up together?" A big hopeful grin is given as Pie Girl clasps her hands together. What a dream it would be to work with an actual superhero! "Pretty please?"

[I feel like Macaque gives off Shady Mentor vibes for Rai as well - for all his proud and just Xioalin training, Macaque is there to teach him to sweep the leg and box the ears - will it break their knee or make them deaf? Maybe, but sometimes the underhanded ways are the ones you need. Whether or not Rai takes this advice depends on the adversary, I think. Though, if he does at least once, he's still kinda like 'wtf no, this felt way more underhanded than it even looked'.]
