hi anon! i just want to say that relating to the characters doesn’t necessarily have to be sports related! i am also not that into sports but kinning someone is simply just relating to them on a personal or emotional level. it could be habits that they have or the way that they handle situations.

for oikawa, a lot of the top qualities are:

-superiority/inferiority complex

-being petty

-hard working but way too hard on themselves

-pushing oneself to an unrealistic standard

-good at reading people

-putting up a front but taking that down around only people close to you
