Yes! I am planning to do an episode-by-episode review for Volume 6, pointing out the pros and cons of each one, once all the episodes are released publicly! Once that’s done, I’ll make one long post about my over-all thoughts of the volume.

I currently have episode 1 drafted and episode 2 is in the middle of being written.

This is like blaming the trees for catching fire instead the people who set the trees on fire in the first place.

I honestly can’t tell where RT is going with BB vs BS but it’s pretty obvious that they enjoy stirring the pot

I don’t care for either ship because I really don’t like Blake and I personally think that both Yang and Sun deserve better (maybe even each other??? Sun and Yang seem like the perfect couple and Sun is extremely loyal, a perfect match for Yang’s abandonment issues unlike a particular black cat we know)

This just makes me think you’re salty they aren’t making ship tease for what you like.

It seems a lot to me like Yang might have feelings for Blake, but Blake definitely seems much more interested in Sun and might not even be into girls at all. And even if this seems like the most likely case to me it still reeks of queerbaiting, what with the release of BMBLB and both Arryn and Barbara pushing BB a lot. RT is aware of the ship wars and how seriously a lot of shippers take the show but they still say and do things that feed the fire and it’s really dumb.

A. You’ve shown that what you see is not based in any factual observation but rather what gives you an excuse. You did this in your last post where you ignored NUMEROUS points just to bitch so why should anyone listen?

B. Queerbaiting is 99% bullshit. It is used almost EXCLUSIVELY to mean ‘I ship these two people of the same gender so it must be canon or else everyone is homophobic’ nevermind that people will ship two people who have NEVER MET.

C. Arryn outright debunked the idea of BMBLB beinga  canon song.

D. Oh gee, it’s almost like the creators want to be personable with the fans. God knows why though,,,

E. No matter what they do, it will and fuel to the fire. Saying nothing will be used as fuel for both sides. There’s nothing they do to stop it: fans have their own autonomy.

If somehow Blake does discover that she has feelings for Yang if and when she confesses, what’s the point of building up BS since VOLUME ONE??? 

Ship tease. It happens all the time.

If Blake doesn’t return the feelings and decides to go the BS route, what’s the point of breaking Yang’s heart again??? (((Maybe for Yang to realize that Weiss has been there for her??? CoughcoughTheyCanBuildFreezerburnCoughCough)))

Ship tease. Don’t you understand that ship tease is often used to drum up interest? Just about every shows does it.

RT really stuck themselves between a rock and a hard place and I don’t know how they’re going to come out of this without doing any kind of damage

So instead of blaming the shippers who escalated this issue to Steven Universe fandoms levels of bad, you blame the creators who couldn’t stop this even by announcing everyone as asexual.

Hey dudeski did you ever get to reading the ending of Grimoire? I really wanna know if the ending is good or not, spoilers totally welcome

how far did you get in?

the ending is pretty strong, i like it, more so for being one of the few optimistic Devilman comics in a sea of pessimism.  

With the final volume, Coulcure, Wilfre and Sirene launch a mass attack across the world, much of humanity gets wiped out, Amon is attacked psychically and looses his senses, killing Aoi Kurosaki, Manjiro and Tetsuya in the process. Amon decides to take the fight to the trio of villains but is defeated and humiliated.

At that point, while you would expect humanity to be wiped out, it instead manages to stay strong. Many becoming Devilmen and fighting against the demons, in some cases demon and humanity began to coexist with one another (I think, could be wrong on that point). Shortly before a Devilman army led by Ryo Utsugi, his assistant, Miki and Himura storm Coulcure’s fortress, Amon is freed by Coco, Coulcure assistant and they flee into the mountains together. Meanwhile Coulcure is decapitated in her human form, WIlfre is burnt alive and Sirene fuses with Kaim after a change of heart. 

With the threat over, Utsugi decides that Amon too needs to die, so he, his assistant, Miki and Mico trace Amon, Coco and Dorango (Who had joined them off panel) to their hut in the mountains and challenge them. Utsugi and his girl fuse together and its revealed that he was in fact Solomon, who planned to wipe out the demon race since the beginning. Amon and Zennon/Ryo Utsugi/Solomon battle it out, though eventually their titanic battle is stopped by Miki Makimura, who slaps them both, bringing them to calm. Solomon see’s error and decides to finally die after so many centuries of life. Miki and Amon stay together as the world rebuilds itself in a human/demon coexistence. The last page is really heartwarming.

Well, thats it yo, Grimoire’s a good series, happy to see it finally coming out.
