For Natural Looking Teeth, Go For Crowns
A cap or crown can be used to replace the entire portion of a tooth that is above the gum line. It will encase the tooth to become the tooth’s new external surface.

Update on my tooth
Dentist appointment was today.
So, apparently my tooth was decaying (love genetics) and it had weakened enough for my butterscotch to simply knock it out. They did a temporary crown on it for today, I go back the 22nd of July to get the permanent on.
The decay was real close to my root so if I feel any prolonged pain or sensitivity I will need a root canal done. But fingers crossed I just need the crown. She didn’t like how close she had to get to my root. But we’ll see.
Worst case is my tooth gets pulled 🤷🏻♀️.
I will probably need a new retainer (they quoted me one for 108 dollars at the office so I was like “nah my ortho can hook me one up for free fifty.”)
And I need to baby the side of my face for now. Anyways I got my new regular (my crazy gremlin goblin dude, love him.) coming tomorrow so imma try and show up to school to do his hair and then try and leave early 💀.

I'm at the dentist right now, that shooting pain I felt for days turned out to be a cavity, that and one of my caps next to it was shifted by some unknown force.
