Good heavens I have a dentist’s appointment in two hours
I feel like I should’ve gone earlier, back when my filling first fell out some time late last year
Now it hurt when I drink too much water :(

Why can't we be like cats in terms of dental care? Got a bad tooth? Just pull it out and be done with it.
I'm really not looking forward to my root canal in a couple of weeks. 🦷
evil is stored in the mouth rocks
I took my last penicillin pill today. Please pray for my tooth implant to stay strong and well and that it won’t be infected. On second thought, don’t pray. Just hope for the best please bc I always expect the worst.
When will I be able to eat real solid food again. I miss being able to chew things properly.
My tooth is infected. Yippie. The dentist won't touch me until I'm in my second trimester. Double yay. Ugh. I'm now waiting on a call back from my primary physician for antibiotics, per the dentists recommendation.
Tooth Troubles
Now is not the time. Like, seriously. Now is not the fucking time. In 2009 I fell on my face and knocked out my tooth. The root was still intact so they put it back in and stitched my gum shut. My two front teeth were severely chipped and the one on the right was hanging lower than it should have been. Nothing was broken on the inside, just knocked loose, so the dentist used a stabilizer bar, just like the bar you'd see on braces, and cemented it to my surrounding teeth so everything could fuse back together. I ended up getting my chipped teeth filled in, and I went back to some semblance of normal. The front tooth that got knocked loose, I ended up having to have a root canal on, and I was told that I may eventually have to have it removed and a crown put in its place. This thing hurts. It all started this evening. The space below my nose even hurts if pressure is applied or if I try to bite something. I don't want this to be happening now, being pregnant and all, what if nothing can be done until I have the baby? I looked it up on google to see if anyone else has had to have a crown done while they were pregnant, and a lot of people were saying that their dentists wouldn't touch them until they were at least in the second trimester and some wouldn't do anything until after delivery. I can't deal with this for the next 7 months. I obviously will have no choice if it comes down to it, but it's going to fucking suck.
Vicodin and Ice Cream Cake
So...Vicodin is a hell of a drug. For some reason, and I can't be sure of what I was thinking at the time, I thought it'd be great to order an ice cream cake for the entire department, because I love them all so much. I tend to be annoyingly affectionate when drunk or on medication. In all fairness, it was a great idea, and they all agree I should stay drugged. Also, it was delicious. The bad news is that we're down to the last of the breast milk so I need to get back to producing for the baby, rather than pumping and dumping. So it's back to dealing with a broken tooth. I'm not in the best of moods. I will accept sympathy, foot rubs, and professions of undying love to cheer me up.
