How would sign language work in zootopia?
Not everyone has fingers and even if they do there isn't a consistent amount of fingers to try and use sign language.
Also too many animals have too many differences for there to be a constant one, which means they will have to learn all or most different sign languages.
Mind you lots of animals sign language can over lap like horses, donkeys and probably elephants too. But then again you have asl, bsl and Australian sign language which are arias with the same spoken language but different sign.
Wtf would snake sign language be?
Also, also you know those little boxes that have the sign translations on the news and stuff? Do you think they have like, at least 10 versions of that in zootopia?
- my sister has come up with a good possible work around with this though bc she said that different t.vs could have different animal settings and it can come up with relevant sign for it. But I don't think it's full proof
