FREQUENCY (0 - never, 10 - often)

Spamton: 11 - This poor guy suffers from multiple digestive issues and intolerances, his sensitive insides are prone to going off in reaction to the most basic things. On a good day, he’s farting every few minutes. 

Tenna: 7 - Just a little more gassy than the average cathode ray tube, he has to degauss a few times per day if he wants to prevent his vision from becoming distorted. 

CONTROL (0 - fully controlled, 10 - no control)

Spamton: 5 - Has a lot more control than he would admit to, but he chooses not to control it

Tenna: 8 - When he has to let go, it is pretty much inevitable

AWARENESS (0 - always notices, 10 - never notices)

Spamton: 6 - It's anyone’s guess whether Spamton actually notices that he is breaking wind, if it is particularly notable by sound or smell, he will comment on it. 

Tenna: 1 - Very aware of his digestive process, he can tell when a bubble is traveling down.

FORCE (0 - slight breeze, 10 - gale force winds)

Spamton: 5 - Varies depending on the condition of his guts, 5 is the minimum

Tenna: 5 - Also varies, usually based on how long he has held it in for

VOLUME (0 - silent, 10 - deafening)

Spamton: 2 - Can be louder, but he is definitely the trophy winner when it comes to silent ones. 

Tenna: 8 - Noisy, static filled, one time he set off someone’s car alarm. Doesn’t like to talk about that experience.

SIZE (0 - tiny, 10 - room filler)

Spamton: 10 - Spreads across the atmosphere like soft butter on hot toast

Tenna: 6 - Can always get worse but usually averages at that

LENGTH (0 - less than a second, 10 - minutes)

Spamton: 6 - Spamton has a lot of trapped air to let loose, some of his SBDs can take nearly thirty seconds for him to feel properly emptied out.

Tenna: 2 - A short loud buzz, and that's about that

LINGER (0 - seconds, 10 - lasts for hours)

Spamton: 7 - You can walk away and come back like half an hour later and still smell traces of his brand

Tenna: 3 - Sometimes the leftover static causes the electrical appliances to go a little fritzy 

FUME THICKNESS (0 - non-existent, 10 - literal smog)

Spamton: 10 - At least from what I’ve seen in artistic depictions

Tenna: 10 - I mean, they’re literally cartoon characters!

HEAT (0 - room warming, 10 - metal melting)

Spamton: 7 - Sweaty crack, that's all.

Tenna: 1 - But he can get a little sweaty when he is bloated 

WETNESS (0 - dry as sand, 10 - soaking)

Spamton: 9 - See heat scale. 

Tenna: 0 - No dampness here!

POTENCY (0 - odorless, 10 - paint peeling)

Spamton: 10 - This is why the wallpaper in the studio is peeling. 

Tenna: 4 - Wayyyy less smelly compared to Spamton lol

Tenna’s guts had been roiling since his business partner had treated him to a spicy lunch, but he had opted to power through it and go on with the show. He had done a good job of holding it in, and hiding his discomfort from the crowd, up to the very end, that is…

“You have been enjoying Spamton and Tenna’s TV Time!” he said with a singsongy tone. “Isn’t that right, my fantastical friend?” Tenna motioned to Spamton, who stood by his side. 

Spamton was cheered on by the crowd as he waved and nodded. “And I couldn’t do it without my bosom buddy, Tenna!” he gestured back to Tenna.The crowd roared with cheers, and a rose fell at Tenna’s feet. 

At that moment, he ignored the ominous warnings coming from his bloated midsection, and he bent down to pick up the rose.

Tenna straightened back up almost immediately, display flushing a deep crimson. The smell spread through the stage and the front row, dousing everyone nearby in an eggy miasma. Tenna was mortified to see some of the crowd members covering their noses and attempting in vain to fan away the smell by waving their hands. 

Tenna turned to Spamton, and he was looking at Tenna with an…interesting expression. The mailman’s face was a mixture of fascination and secondhand humiliation. Tenna took note of the way his large glasses and powdery makeup hid the reddening of his cheeks. 

Then Tenna looked back to the audience. The smell had dissipated, but the cause had been obvious. 

“Uh…heh, excuse me?”

Spamton signaled for Mike to cut the cameras.

Fart scale writing exercise....for character development.

Borrowed template from @scratchthatitch , who's stuff is awesome and should totally be peeped.

Oc: Gabriel McLaurent

FREQUENCY (0 - never, 10 - often)

8 - Gabe is a farty fellow, and his intolerances, anxiety, and powers make it all the more worse. On a good day, Gabe is still hitting double digits per hour. 

CONTROL (0 - fully controlled, 10 - no control)

2.5 - Super-strength extends to the sphincter muscles. This can be a blessing when he’s trying to hold back an attack during a particularly lengthy meeting, but swiftly becomes a curse when the meeting concludes and he’s stuck holding in an eruption. 

AWARENESS (0 - always notices, 10 - never notices)

0 - Maybe even a negative 1. Gabe is not only aware of his emissions, he is hyper-aware of the sensations of his digestive process, right down to being able to predict the sound and smell with a scary amount of accuracy. 

FORCE (0 - slight breeze, 10 - gale force winds)

10 - Remember what I said about the super strength thing? This is the downside. Gabe’s releases are like a backwards air canon. Hiding your powers is hard when a single toot can send nearby paperwork into the air like massive snowflakes…I do not know how this bitch manages. 

VOLUME (0 - silent, 10 - deafening)

9.5 - If you’re planning to spend time with Gabe when he’s having a “bad stomach day”, you’ll probably need earplugs. Sometimes he will fly up into the air to let loose a particularly bad one, especially at night when his apartment is very quiet. 

SIZE (0 - tiny, 10 - room filler)

8 - If you’re in a closed off area, no matter the size, you will be smelling Gabe’s brand when he eventually lets loose. 

LENGTH (0 - less than a second, 10 - minutes)

5* - *Varies depending on the condition of his sensitive digestive system. On a good day, his farts would probably take up short bursts of time, never more than four or five seconds. But on a much worse stomach day, they can stretch out for at least ten seconds each. 

LINGER (0 - seconds, 10 - lasts for hours)

7 - When Gabe isn’t feeling well, the office will stink even when he isn’t tooting. Gabe feels especially embarrassed when the stench clings to his clothing, so he tends to spray febreeze around his cubicle. 

FUME THICKNESS (0 - non-existent, 10 - literal smog)

1 - Normally I would say zero, but Gabe lives in Canada, so you can probably see a little puff like you’d see from one’s breath when he lets one go in the cold weather. 

HEAT (0 - room warning, 10 - metal melting)

4 - Hot enough to give him a sweaty ass, but thankfully, Gabe lacks any sort of heat based powers, so the heat stays within realistic parameters. 

WETNESS (0 - dry as sand, 10 - soaking)

5* - Again, varies depending on the state of his guts, but his farts are more airy than wet. They’re probably just wet enough to describe them as sloppy on occasion. Yay.

POTENCY (0 - odorless, 10 - paint peeling)

7 - It only gets worse when his stomach is on the fritz, and Gabe’s intolerances and assorted issues make it so that it almost always is on the fritz. Each release brings forth a harsh, sulphuric stench.
