nobody hates you for liking bottom erik. it's the heteronormativity of the whole thing that bothers many people. they're not bottom or top people, they're just erik and charles. why assign such strict roles to a couple when they could be perceived as versatile. also your ideas about bottoms = subs, tops = doms are, again, really heteronormative, as if it being a bottom means youre a whiny womanly bottom bitch. charles takes up the arse, deal with it.

It’s very rare, like aunicorn farting rainbows. On AO3, only 107 fics are tagged as bottom!Erik (63in English and complete). Some fics do contain bottom!Erik without explicitlymentioning it, but not many unfortunately. Oh well! People write what theylike, which is absolutely understandable of course! I guess I’ll just have towrite more to compensate for the lack of bottom!Erik fics! I actually have afew ideas in mind, and they’re driving me insane lately, but I block, afraidthat my writing isn’t good enough and that I’ll receive further hate for likingbottom!Erik and top!Charles. I can’t help it. I just love it, and it’s not just plain hot sex tome. Erik trusting Charles enough to let him make love to him is simply so pure,beautiful and touching to me, considering Erik’s brutal and cruel past, howpeople treated him, all the abuse and harsh treatment…

Written for the following prompt: Erik is an aggressive, dangerous, cynical mutant, hardened from years of being passed through private laboratories and used for experimentation. He's covered in surgical scars from operations, tattooed and bar coded like a lab rat, and blind from an experiment done on his eyes. ... Charles Xavier finds out about him. Charles runs a sort of sanctuary for mutants that provides lost, abandoned, abused, runaway mutants with shelter, comfort, and help with ability control. He thinks he can rehabilitate Erik and save him from execution, and convinces the government that he can.

When Erik arrives, he is a lot worse than Charles thought he would be ... Everyone else can see that Erik is a nuclear bomb waiting to go off, but Charles refuses to give up on him. ...

The first time Charles sneaks up on him wearing no metal, it triggers him and he reacts instinctively, with violence. ... Erik discovers why Charles understands him so well: he was once used in experiments as well, experiments run by his own family, and in one of them, he lost his voice, so he uses his telepathy to communicate.
