Sung Bin Jo Highlights
By: FIGHTprospectsTV
At one point, it looked like South Korea was poised to be the next big country for MMA. They had (and still have) a bunch of promotions with real financing behind them, a bunch of good camps, and no shortage of young fighters. For whatever reason though, we haven’t seen a Korean fighter breakthrough lately in the UFC. Korean Superboy burned out, KZ can’t stay healthy, and Stun Gun is basically a part-time fighter nowadays.
Enter Sung Bin Jo (9-0). The Korean Falcon is an exciting striker coming out of Tiger Muay Thai. He’s yet to have a big step up in competition but from what we’ve seen so far, he’s exciting young striker. Sung Bin Jo will be making his UFC debut this Saturday (June 1) at UFC on ESPN+ 11: Gustafsson vs. Smith. He’ll be facing off with Daniel Teymur (6-3).
