I am currently on holiday in Brixham, South Devon with my parents and my sister, Clare. Tonight, we have had one of the most surreal but quite amusing pub moments!

My family and I are at one of the local pubs chilling and having a couple of pints, when my dad goes up to the jukebox to select some songs. While he is gone, 2 camp and slightly drunk Irish brothers come along and start a conversation with us. One of them starts hitting on my mum, calling her fit, as well as conplimenting Clare and I!

While this is happening, my dad is listening to the conversation at the jukebox which is only a few metres away. He finds it funny, but decides to cut in. After selecting Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing, he sits next to the guy hitting on Mum, holds out his hand, looks straight in his eyes, and says “Hi, I’m Richard!”
